Hey, I’m Ali — a product designer who thinks design is way more than pixels on a screen. It’s a mindset, a lifestyle, and sometimes a quiet rebellion. For me, good design brings people, technology, and the planet into harmony — it solves real problems and looks good doing it.
Before anything goes into Figma, I love sketching ideas on paper or whiteboards — doodles, scribbles, messy lines that somehow become something real. That hands-on part of the process keeps things fun and honest.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with a camera in hand, chasing light, texture, and stories through architecture and street photography. I’m obsessed with Van Gogh’s emotion, Jacques-Louis David’s drama, and Michelangelo’s bold forms. I’ve spent way too much time admiring Bauhaus design and following the work of David and Tom Kelley from IDEO — their approach to creativity and human-centered design stuck with me early on.
Oh, and I’m a bit of a culture sponge. I’ve visited over 30 countries and more than 100 cities — partly for the architecture, partly for the people, and definitely for the food. I love chatting with people from all walks of life and learning how different perspectives shape the way we live, build, and create. It all feeds into how I think about design — as something global, human, and full of heart.
